SUMMARY

We are seeking a hands-on and mechanically inclined Preventive Maintenance Technician & Woodshop Machine Operator to support our woodshop operations and equipment maintenance needs. This hybrid role will focus on the full operation of CNC machines (Rover B, Edge Banders, Beam Saw) while also handling preventive maintenance (PM) duties and minor repairs for forklifts, propane lifts, dock doors, and other shop infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess both technical know-how and physical capability to contribute to machine operation, maintenance, and team support across production.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification in industrial maintenance or CNC operations preferred
• 2+ years of experience operating CNC machinery and/or performing mechanical, technical or electrical maintenance
• Ability to read and interpret machine manuals, technical diagrams, and schematic layouts
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment (lifting, bending, operating machinery)
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
