WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Joining us a Price Optimisation Analyst, you’ll be responsible for the development and delivery of data-driven pricing strategies across our retail business area.

You’ll be looking for opportunities to optimise pricing- ensuring we remain competitive whilst maximising commercial performance and providing fair value to our members and customers.
In this varied role some of your responsibilities will include:
Aligning with our co-operative values, you will help to ensure our pricing strategies are ethical and transparent.
You’ll need to stay up to date with latest trends and advancements in price optimisation software and techniques and look for opportunities for improvement.
Acting as a subject matter expert on pricing, you’ll be providing strategic guidance and supporting cross-functional initiatives.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF I AM RIGHT FOR THIS ROLE?
We are looking for someone who can bring strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of pricing theory and strategy- including lifecycle pricing, promotional mechanics, and competitor-based pricing.
You will bring experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), skilled to a high level in business intelligence tools like Power BI and experienced in using or managing third-party pricing optimisation technology.
In addition, you’ll also have proven experience in a pricing, revenue management or a similar commercial analytics role.
We are looking for someone who has demonstratable knowledge of retail commercial metrics as well as the factors that influence pricing decisions, within a retail environment.
To be successful in this role you will need to be skilled in the ability to translate complex data and analysis into clear, actionable insights for commercial stakeholders.
A degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Business with a focus on Analytics is desirable
