Does this seem like something you want to be a part of? If so, we are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and highly motivated Pricing Analyst to join and play a key role in our Global Pricing and profitability organization.
The location of this position is preferably Sumperk, Czech Republic or Milan, Italy, or any city in Central and Eastern Europe.
In this role, you will collaborate with various functions across the organization, focusing on new product pricing, pricing tools and analytics development, and price updates. Your responsibilities will include:
- New Product Pricing: Ensure timely pricing of new product introductions. Work with product management to define pricing strategy and positioning based on product value, validated by profitability and competitiveness considerations. Implement prices in systems and communicate to the sales organization.
- Price List Updates: Implement timely price list updates with team members, requiring system work and communication with sales.
- Global Campaign Support: Support global campaign planning and provide ad hoc pricing support.
- Sales and Profitability Analysis: Analyze sales and profitability to make product pricing recommendations.
- Pricing Strategy and Benchmarking: Participate in pricing strategy definition, price benchmarking, and M&A activities to ensure competitive price positioning.
- Cross-Functional Projects: Represent pricing in cross-functional projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to improvements in pricing and profitability analytics.
To be successful in this position, you need to demonstrate the following:
- Experience/Education: 3-5 years in roles such as Business Analyst, Pricing Analyst, Business Controller, or similar. University degree preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of value-based pricing and parametric product pricing is desired. Proficiency in SAP and Power BI; advanced Excel skills or a willingness to quickly develop these skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical aptitude combined with business acumen.
- Communication: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
