Overview The Business Development Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Sales / Business Development team by leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making. This role involves conducting market research, performing cost and comparison analyses, and identifying therapy growth opportunities at Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). The analyst creates data-driven insights and reports to enhance sales pitches, track performance against proformas, and support overall business growth. With a strong focus on analytics and collaboration, the role is essential for shaping proposals and optimizing revenue generation strategies. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Collect and analyze data from external resources to support proposals and strategic decisions Monitor market trends and provide actionable insights to optimize revenue generation Conduct cost analysis leveraging both internal and external datasets Perform comparison analyses between current client models/invoices and proposed sales offerings Provide insights and reporting on business development metrics, including new business acquisition, churn analysis, and performance against budget Develop and deliver data-driven stories to enhance sales pitches and presentations Collaborate with Business Development teams to refine proposals Create and maintain business development reports Maintain Quote Sheet rates by region Support post-mortem analysis on new business actuals vs. proforma to track and measure bid accuracy on volume, mix, and profitability Attends all mandatory meetings, trainings, and assignments as delegated Must conduct self in an ethical, legal, and responsible manner at all times Must adhere to the policies, principles, and guidance within the Employee Handbook and Code of Conduct Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned Competency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Ability to take independent ownership of processes and initiatives Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized Strong analytical acumen and intellectual curiosity to perform “what-if” sensitivities Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills (across all levels of organization) Demonstrated ability to work with team members in a hands-on management capacity Ability to build strong relationships with a diverse population Ability to work in a fast-paced, productive work environment Qualifications Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field or study required Experience in the healthcare industry and ancillary services preferred 1-2 years of previous experience in Pricing or Financial Analyst roles Computer Skills: Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) Exposure to ERP systems including Salesforce, Sage Intacct, UKG, NetHealth/Optima and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is preferred
