Overview:
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Pricing Analyst to support the corporate Pricing team in developing competitive and compliant pricing proposals for civil and defense Government contracts. This position will be located in the DC metro area (based out of Fairfax, VA) but remote candidates in other locations will be considered.
Responsibilities:

GovCIO is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support the corporate Pricing team in developing competitive and compliant pricing proposals for civil and defense Government contracts. This role is ideal for professionals with 2–6 years of experience in pricing analysis, cost modeling, and proposal development.

  • Development of pricing proposals and narratives for new business, change proposals, and task orders across various contract types (Fixed Price, Cost Type, T&M, IDIQ).
  • Prepare responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs in collaboration with senior pricing staff.
  • Conduct financial analyses such as profitability models, risk assessments, and scenario planning to inform pricing strategy.
  • Review RFP requirements and contribute to pricing compliance and strategy discussions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Business Development, Capture, Contracts, Finance) to gather inputs and ensure accurate cost estimates.
  • Present pricing models and analysis summaries to internal stakeholders and management.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving cost estimation tools and procedures to ensure alignment with government and commercial standards.
  • Apply working knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other relevant regulations to ensure proposal compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field, or commensurate experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or proposal development within the Federal Government services market.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially advanced Excel functions.
  • Experience supporting bids for various contract types (FP, T&M, CR).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment.
