The Role Our business is evolving, continuous growth and new technologies bring new opportunities, so we have an opportunity for an experienced Pricing Analyst to join our team in Pemulwuy. This is a permanent full-time role where you will have the opportunity to use your analysis experience in pricing, ensuring the competitiveness of our business while protecting our margins. You understand that effective pricing is paramount to our growing business. Your main responsibility will be to ensure we are selling parts at the right price. Reporting to the Senior Pricing Analyst your key responsibilities include: Ensure that the parts are priced appropriately to maintain competitive market margins. Conduct margin assessments on all shipments and adjust the pricing of products with low margins. Maintain ongoing communication with the sales team to gather market insights. Collaborate with different departments, such as Purchasing, Product Development, and Inventory. Conduct strategic evaluations of pricing and price structures for targeted product categories. Leverage market feedback to aid in price negotiations or consider alternative sourcing options. Perform annual price evaluations for contract clients. Examine the price override report. About You The role requires an individual with analytical thinking, an exceptional care factor, and great attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks with speed and be able to prioritise your workload. You are a team player who is committed, reliable, adaptable and love working with numbers. In addition: Experience in the motor vehicle industry is advantageous Able to adjust to projects as they come up and flexible enough to address current needs At least 2 years’ experience in a corporate environment Prior pricing experience is an advantage Be able to demonstrate strong analytical and organisational skills and good problem-solving skills Intermediate MS Office Skills particularly, in Excel Experience in using AS400 systems and BI Tools, are advantageous Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or Business will be highly regarded About the company Multispares is the largest independent supplier of truck, trailer and bus parts in Australia and New Zealand.
