Responsibilities

The primary role of the Costing Analyst is to partner with the Pricing Team, Category Managers and Sales to maximize Viking Electric profitability through enhanced costing analysis, and Vendor collaboration.

You will…

  • Execute continual stock costing optimization by monitoring vendor price increases and owning price file analysis and readout.
  • Coordinate with Category Managers and Pricing Managers to set and maintain Comm-Cost to Rep-Cost strategy.
  • Research COGS discrepancies and provide recommendations for corrections.
  • Participate in line reviews and prepare vendor performance reporting to ensure competitive costing.
  • Maintains Cost deviations and routinely reviews.
  • Execute continual special pricing agreement optimization. Review group SPA profitability opportunities and provide Individual SPA enhancement recommendations.
