We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented Pricing capabilities development Analyst (CPQ) to play a pivotal role in delivering our EMEA digital pricing capabilities across the region. You’ll be at the forefront of implementing cutting-edge Smart CPQ (configure, price, quote) pricing capabilities across the EMEA region.
In this exciting role, you will collaborate with the EMEA Operational Pricing Lead, local pricing subject matter experts (SMEs), and the wider project team to implement our digital pricing capability, Smart CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), across the region. As an integral part of the EMEA Pricing & Tender Centre of Excellence in MedTech, your expertise will be crucial for ensuring the smooth rollout of CPQ and delivering a consistent regional template.
You will play a key role in working with local markets to implement CPQ across the region. Your responsibilities will include providing support to markets in shaping their pricing hierarchy data to drive optimal efficiency and quality, providing the relevant structure for CPQ. Beyond this you critical support to local SMEs in validating migrated pricing data, managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and developing comprehensive training resources for local pricing users.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration/finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pricing, contracting or related commercial roles.
  • Strong understanding of operational and strategic aspects of pricing.
  • Experience in using CPQ solutions and within the configure, price, quote process would be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of pricing-related systems and technologies, in particular the ERP systems JDE and SAP S4/HANA would be an advantage.
  • Project experience: the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage concurring tasks efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills; the ability to simplify complex matters and effectively communicate to audiences of differing levels within the organisation.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Revenue & Margin Assurance Pricing Manager , will be responsible for driving execution of regional pricing & commercial strategies focused on profitable growth to meet financial commitments for MedTech in Europe, Middle East & Affrica (EMEA). The incumbent will be responsible in liaising with key cross-functional partners on a global, regional, and local level to ensure alignment on business planning, commercial readiness, tactical execution and will oversee critical strategic projects that fuel profitable growth.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (5-8 years’ experience) with proficiency in advanced analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Solid experience in marketing, sales and pricing (2-4 years’ experience) ideally in Medical Devices, with proven track record in change management.
  • Experience in driving profit initiatives such as pricing optimization, customer segmentation, portfolio & customer mix and revenue assurance
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Data science or related field; master’s degree or MBA preferred
  • Understanding of healthcare market dynamics and hospital landscape
  • Proven ability to understand business strategy; translating strategy into operational activities and drive execution.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives. Ability to navigate complex matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Country deployment leadership: Collaborate with local Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the project team to oversee the rollout of the latest template version to various markets.
  • Market engagement: Coordinate with local markets to ensure all actions in the deployment checklist are fulfilled.
  • Data quality support: Assist markets in optimizing data quality to facilitate a smooth transition to Configure Price Quote.
  • Business training: Lead train the trainer sessions for the business to ensure understanding and effective use of the new CPQ template. Support local CPQ leads in tailoring training materials to fit local requirements, ensuring the best level of training for end users.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Manage business UAT testing for each CPQ release to ensure functionality and user satisfaction, working with the project team and local markets to ensure that users can exercise testing, that defects are accurately captured and prioritised accordingly.
  • Post-rollout support: support the local markets during after go-live and beyond, providing support to ensure that any issues encountered are captured and resolved.
  • Feature development: work with local SME’s and the wider project team to collect and shape requirements for system features, shaping future capabilities which we deliver in CPQ.
  • Business Adoption: Partner with local CPQ leads to drive adoption of CPQ across markets. Support markets in ramping up use of the solution across business use cases/users, capturing feedback and using this to help shape future requirements.
  • At all stages of the project, track the status of deliverables, communicating risks and escalating where required to ensure delivery in line with the project plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pricing & Commercial Execution: Oversee the profit acceleration initiative, focusing on pricing, product mix, service programs, and addressing revenue leakage. Monitor adherence to profit strategies, providing structured analyses and action plans to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Pricing Business Planning: Lead pricing and profit planning and revisions for all business units, establishing processes for insight collection and providing guidance on account segmentation and planning. Identify upside and risk opportunities to inform business planning.
  • Price Optimization & Process Management: Drive the end-to-end price optimization process, including monitoring market dynamics, competitor pricing, and customer insights to identify opportunities for maximizing revenue and margins. Manage and oversee the entire pricing lifecycle, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards at each stage.
  • Price Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, external regulations, and company standards related to pricing. Implement governance frameworks to oversee pricing activities, review price changes for compliance, and mitigate risks associated with pricing practices.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate quarterly country reviews and commercial councils, ensuring timely resolution of action items. Act as the primary liaison for profit initiatives across various stakeholders, including regional and local Finance, Strat Caps Leaders, and Business leaders.
  • Pricing Analytics & Insights: Develop and leverage advanced analytic tools to analyze pricing, revenue, and margin data. Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on comprehensive analysis to support strategic decision-making and improve profitability.
  • Project Management: Manage critical strategic projects linked to the overall MedTech strategy, leading complex initiatives with significant business impact. Create communication materials and stakeholder engagement plans to align with senior leadership.
