JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for someone who can manage the role that involves coordinating pricing requests with shipping lines, ensuring accurate rate calculations, and maintaining the internal rate sheet. The individual will manage disputes, communicate updates to customers and the internal team, and stay informed on industry changes. Strong multitasking, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.

QUALIFICATIONS:-

  • Bachelor’s degree .
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Freight Forwarding and Shipping Lines, with a focus on Pricing and Rates Calculation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Shipping Terms and how to calculate shipping lines rates.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with shipping lines to obtain pricing information and quotations.
  • Proficiency in managing rate quotations, dispute resolution, and communication with various stakeholders.
  • Ensure precise and accurate rate calculations for all shipping services.
  • Collaborate with both customers and the internal sales team to guarantee timely fulfillment of all pricing requests.
  • Address and resolve any disputes related to shipping line rates.
  • Maintain and update the internal company rate sheet, tracking all quotes provided to customers and internal teams.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to obtain updated rate information and stay informed on logistics industry developments.
  • Provide prompt notifications and updates to both customers and the internal team regarding any changes in rates.
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently to meet operational demands and deadlines.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively address and resolve any disputes between shipping lines and customers.
