Let’s save them both for future generations Job Description The Pricing & Data Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate pricing, clean master data, and flawless item lifecycle management, enabling strong sales performance, margin optimization, and operational excellence with all business partners (including AutoZone Mexico). The role acts as the single point of truth for item data and pricing within the business and ensures full compliance with Bosch global standards and retailer requirements. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Data Analytics, or related field. Master’s degree (MBA or similar) is a plus but not required. Professional Experience 2–5 years of relevant experience in: Pricing Master Data Management Commercial Operations Retail or Distributor Support Category Management Business Analytics Experience in the Automotive Aftermarket or Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) is preferred. Experience working with large retailers (AutoZone, Walmart, O’Reilly, Napa, etc.) strongly preferred. Technical Skills Systems & Tools SAP SD/MM (pricing conditions, material master) – required. Excel (advanced): Power Query PivotTables VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP Data validation Power BI, BW, or other BI/reporting tools (preferred). Experience with retailer data templates, item setup forms, and EDI/portal uploads. Pricing & Analytics Skills Understanding of: Price waterfalls Margin structures (List → Net → Pocket Margin) Promotions and retail pricing dynamics Cost structures (FOB/Landed/STD cost) Ability to run pricing simulations and profitability analysis. Data Skills Data cleaning, normalization, error checking, and mass updates. Understanding of SKU-level attributes (dimensions, UOM, GTIN, brand, hierarchy). Ability to troubleshoot item master issues. Business Skills Understanding of the Mexican automotive aftermarket (components, category behavior, competition) is a plus. Knowledge of retail vendor requirements, especially AutoZone Mexico. Strong alignment with cross-functional teams: Sales, Finance, Category Management, Supply Chain. Soft Skills & Behavioral Competencies High attention to detail and accuracy (critical for pricing/data roles). Strong organization and project management skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written, Spanish; English intermediate–advanced). Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and drive insights. Ownership mentality – ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proactive, disciplined, and capable of working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Strong ethical orientation and respect for data governance. Language Requirements Spanish: Native or fluent. English: Intermediate to advanced (B2+ recommended) for interacting with regional and global Bosch teams. Additional Preferred Attributes Experience with: Automotive catalogs, part numbers, applications, cross-references. Retail content requirements (short descriptions, bullet points, attributes). Knowledge of supply chain basics (order flow, DC routing, pack sizes). Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies (nice-to-have).
