ABOUT YOUR FUTURE ROLE
Merchant Solutions (“MS”) Small and Medium Accounts’ (“SME”) Pricing Managers are SME’s experts in pricing-related matters. The Pricing Manager community is responsible for setting prices on individual accounts that safeguard MS SMEs’s profitability, while at the same time allow SME to grow with strong new sales and high retention rates.
Nets are now looking for a new colleague who will take the overall responsibility for the pricing of small accounts in the Norwegian market. You will be part of the Norwegian marketing team and your key stakeholders will be colleagues in the local commercial team and in Nordic pricing teams.
As Pricing Manager, you work closely with the marketing and sales organization, where you ensure that prices offered to the customers generate the intended margins and ensure an understandable pricing to the customers. You will also advise the Norwegian management on the appropriate price levels for the customers and secure optimal pricing of bundled propositions, repricing the existing customer base always taking the customers’ specifics and the competitive situation into account.
In addition to pricing of individual customers, the Pricing Manager role also includes components of analytical work relating to the merchant portfolio and development of the portfolio, taking a more holistic portfolio perspective and finding segments with new opportunities.
To be successful in the role, you must be detail-oriented and meticulous, while at the same having a broader view on the market and SME’s customer portfolio. It is important to deliver high-quality output within set deadlines. To be proactive and flexible in the dialogue with marketing and sales and other stakeholders is a necessity, as is confidence to challenge stakeholders always to strive to get the best possible profitability on each customer.
Success will be defined as being able to draw the right conclusions regarding pricing for each customer case, depending on the circumstances. The ability to deliver timely and correct price calculations for internal and external deadlines is also a top success criterion.
