Job Description The Role At Fastmarkets, the Pricing Operations Specialists ensure Fastmarkets’ price-discovery teams can produce trusted, industry-defining benchmarks by upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance in our pricing workflows. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Pricing Governance & Compliance: Ensure pricing workflows and operational practices adhere to Fastmarkets’ compliance framework and regulatory obligations, including IOSCO principles. Master the use of pricing tools, such as our internal pricing database, to enable Fastmarkets’ reporting teams to conduct accurate and reliable price discovery. Identify and escalate compliance risks related to pricing operations and proactively implement preventative controls. Process Improvement & Efficiency: Work with the wider pricing operations team to review and streamline processes, reduce manual interventions and embed automation into recurring workflows. Partner with technology and data teams to help design, test and implement system enhancements, Continuously evaluate pricing processes to identify areas for innovation and improvement, ensuring they remain aligned with regulatory and compliance requirements. Support post-implementation reviews to ensure improvements are delivering measurable impact and efficiency gains. Data Integrity & Reporting: Safeguard the accuracy, consistency and reliability of all pricing data across systems, maintaining rigorous quality control standards. Investigate and resolve discrepancies in pricing data and workflows in partnership with other teams, ensuring that root causes are identified and addressed. Regularly carry out integrity assessments of pricing data and reporting processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary adjustments. Training & Development: Contribute to the creation and upkeep of operational documentation, including SOPs, training materials and system guides. Deliver training to editorial and operations colleagues on pricing tools, compliance standards and process improvements. Share knowledge and best practice across teams to promote operational excellence, efficiency and compliance awareness. KEY INTERFACES You will work with a global team of around six to seven people. You will ensure prices are published to the right channels through the right procedures. You will enable the editorial team, helping prices meet industry regulatory standards.
