Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

CSR are seeking a dynamic Pricing Partner / Senior Pricing Insights Analyst to join our team based in North Ryde to support the Pricing Excellence Team in a senior capacity.
Join our Pricing Excellence team to shape pricing architecture and drive smarter decisions across products, channels, and customer segments. This role blends analytical rigour with strategic impact-perfect for someone who thrives on turning complex data into clear commercial outcomes. This role is ideal for a technically minded senior analyst / pricing partner who thrives on solving commercial problems using data.

Some responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyse price, margin, and volume performance using Power BI, Excel, Python and SQL.
  • Identify pricing opportunities, risks, and optimisation scenarios.
  • Build dashboards and pricing tools to support pricing decisions and forecast impacts.
  • Support price reviews, margin analysis, and value-based pricing initiatives.
  • Contribute to pricing architecture, segmentation, and discount strategy design.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and category teams to deliver actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholder in deploying long term price evolution roadmap, including AI and ML capabilities.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • 5+ years in pricing, commercial analytics, or revenue management.
  • Degree in Finance, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Advanced Excel / Power Query and Power BI skills; strong Python and SQL experience.
  • Understanding of Machine Learning models and AI for pricing application is a plus.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into commercial recommendations.
  • Experience in B2B, manufacturing, or building materials is highly regarded.
