As one of the largest rack manufacturing facility in North America and due to e-commerce demand, our business has grown substantially.
We are seeking resumes for a qualified Pricing/Purchasing Specialist to support our pricing strategy and execution in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will analyze cost structures, market data, and business cases for capital investments, ensuring that both pricing and project decisions support overall profitability and strategic goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma with 3-5 years of experience in pricing, cost analysis, or financial planning within a manufacturing environment.
· Experience supporting or analyzing Capex projects or capital budgeting processes.
· Experience with capital project financials, manufacturing investment planning, or large-scale project modeling.
· Prior involvement in Capex budget preparation and variance analysis.
Skills and Abilities
· Strong understanding of cost accounting, margin analysis, and pricing methodologies.
· Excellent analytical, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

List the primary duties and responsibilities of the role
· Analyze production costs, raw material pricing, labor overhead, and logistics to determine accurate product pricing.
· Develop and maintain pricing models that reflect cost fluctuations and market dynamics.
· Collaborate with sales, finance, operations, and supply chain teams to align pricing strategies with business goals.
· Support the preparation of quotes and bids for both custom and standard manufactured products.
· Monitor market trends to provide strategic pricing recommendations.
· Assist in the financial evaluation of capital expenditures (Capex) projects.
· Partner with management teams to assess cost-benefit scenarios for equipment upgrades, new production lines, and automation initiatives.
· Review historical data and project performance to improve future estimates and pricing accuracy.
· Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes a lead times for custom components.
· Ensure compliance with company margin targets and pricing policies.
· Assist in engineering efforts to optimize cost without compromising quality or performance.
