ABOUT THE POSITION

Prometeon Tyre Group is looking for a Marketing Pricing Specialist to join our UK team in Burton.
The successful candidate will report to the Marketing Manager and support the following activities:

Pricing Management / Operational Marketing

  • Drive the definition of commercial policies (pricing/volumes by channel).
  • Liaise with HQ to implement the global pricing strategy across the company’s sales channels, in line with the marketing policy (local price lists, local sales campaigns).
  • Determine sell-in and sell-out prices for products and services based on production and logistics costs, margins, competitor pricing, and market positioning.
  • Develop promotional sales campaigns and discount programmes (e.g. channel discounts, volume-based discounts).
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Serve as the main point of reference for product marketing topics (range, materials).

Strategic Insights

Market intelligence: Monitor market trends, segmentation, pricing analysis, and benchmarking, as well as identify market opportunities (e.g. tenders).

  • Provide input and feedback for new commercial policies.
  • Act as a primary point of reference for Sales Managers.
  • Support numerical follow-up of sales incentive programmes.

Reporting

  • Analyse the company’s sell-in and sell-out volumes.
  • Assess pricing activities in terms of product, customer, and channel.
  • Manage rebate and accrual calculations for the channels.
  • Deliver business KPIs.
  • Liaise with regional and local teams to understand the key drivers of sales and volume variations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Master’s degree in one of the following areas: Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or Statistics.
  • Previous experience necessary, minimum of one years graduate placement experience required and ideally two years working in a similar role.
  • Analytical and numerical mindset.
  • Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Office (excellent command of Excel).
  • Knowledge of other IT systems would be considered a plus however, full training will be given.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; any additional language will be considered an advantage.
  • Hybrid remote (2–3 days in the office per week)
