As a Country Pricing Strategist, you’ll be at the heart of our mission to drive innovative pricing solutions and support key business leaders across various teams. We’re looking for talented individuals who are eager to make an impact and bring fresh perspectives to our dynamic workplace.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Operating Unit leaders, Enterprise & Commercial Account leaders, Marketing Teams, and the European Strategic Pricing team. Your insights will be pivotal in crafting and executing our country’s pricing strategy, encompassing both existing and new products. You’ll be more than just a pricing expert; you’ll become an integral part of the Operating Unit leadership team, gaining a deep understanding of their business goals and challenges.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 6-8 years of experience in Commercial, Pricing, or Finance roles within the medical device industry
  • Expertise in crafting and executing pricing, discounting, and contracting strategies for both tender and private market settings
  • Strong grasp of marketing principles, market research, financial forecasting, and commercial operations, including tender processes
  • Capable of conducting detailed analytics and converting them into actionable insights, with experience in business process mapping and presenting findings
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, prioritising, and goal-setting in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of simplifying complex subjects for diverse audiences and able to interact with and influence senior-level decisions, effectively mediating between multiple viewpoints
    Able to show rresilience and manage uncertainty and make decision with partial information would be welcome. Ability to be a positive team player is highly valued

Responsibilities
  • Act as the pricing champion and trusted partner, ensuring alignment with Local country & Western Europe colleagues and implementing strategies using the Vendavo Pricing Management tool
  • Use local market insights and analytics to translate and apply pricing strategies at the country level, providing clear guidance on pricing targets and thresholds
  • Collaborate with Operating Unit (OU) leaders to propose and build business cases for pricing strategy modifications based on local market dynamics and competitive environments
  • Analyse contract coverage for new product launches, support contract negotiations, assess tender designs, and develop strategies to ensure pricing harmonisation
  • Develop product portfolio options, optimise revenue and margin impact of offers, and provide pricing recommendations while ensuring strategy alignment in offers
  • Monitor pricing performance, support pricing capability development within sales and marketing teams, and ensure best practice dissemination across Operating Units and countries
  • Serve as the single point of contact for pricing strategy activities, coordinate new offer development. Utilise and communicate price performance with senior leaders
