Work as many or as few hours per week as you want.
We are looking for an experienced Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and be experienced in tutoring for the 11+ for entrance to grammar schools in the Chelmsford area. The Tutor will be responsible for developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing feedback and guidance to help students achieve the best they can. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, be patient and understanding, and have appropriate teaching experience. A driving licence is also essential as the tutor will be travelling to students homes.

• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
• Provide guidance and support to students in order to help them reach their academic goals.
• Encourage students to think critically and develop problem-solving skills.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and technologies.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable learning environment.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour

Education:

• Bachelor’s (preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (required)
• Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• DBS (preferred)
