JOB DESCRIPTION

FilBrit Training Centre is seeking passionate, dedicated, and licensed professional teachers to join our dynamic team. We are hiring full-time Primary and Secondary Teachers to deliver the Philippine curriculum to students in Dubai.
If you are a committed educator with a deep understanding of the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) K-12 curriculum and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the academic and personal growth of the students abroad, we want to hear from you.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (BEEd) for Primary posts, or a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education (BSEd) with a major in a specific subject (e.g., Math, Science, English, Araling Panlipunan) for Secondary posts.
  • License: Must be a licensed Professional Teacher with a valid PRC (Professional Regulation Commission) ID. This is a mandatory requirement.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary or secondary school setting, with proven experience handling the Philippine curriculum.
  • Curriculum Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the DepEd K-12 curriculum framework, learning competencies, and assessment strategies.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Tagalog.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other educational technology tools.
  • Attributes:
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a strong commitment to student success.
  • Patient, creative, adaptable, and culturally sensitive.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Location: Candidates must be currently residing in the UAE.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging daily and unit lesson plans in accordance with the Philippine DepEd K-12 curriculum standards and learning competencies.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that is conducive to learning and the holistic development of every student.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources, including educational technology, to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child’s academic progress, conduct, and well-being.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers, academic coordinators, and administrative staff in curriculum planning, school events, and professional development activities.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
  • Stay current with educational best practices, teaching methodologies, and developments within the Philippine curriculum.
