This role is pivotal in developing and implementing clinical protocols, managing healthcare teams, and optimizing operational efficiency within the primary care department. The director will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes, promote preventive care, and integrate innovative healthcare practices. Additionally, the position involves strategic planning to align clinical services with organizational goals and community health needs. Ultimately, the Primary Care Director will serve as a key leader driving excellence in primary care delivery and fostering a culture of continuous improvement at PMC.   Minimum Qualifications: * Medical clinic leadership experience. * Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality improvement methodologies, and patient safety standards. * Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Qualifications: * Master’s or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field. * Experience working in rural or community health clinic environments. * Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data analytics tools. * Proven track record of successful program development and implementation in primary care. * Certification in healthcare quality or leadership (e.g., CPHQ, FACHE). Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the primary care clinical team at PMC, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff, to ensure effective and compassionate patient care. * Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards. * Coordinate patient care activities, including chronic disease management, preventive services, and health education programs. * Collaborate with other departments and external partners to enhance integrated care delivery and community health outreach. * Oversee staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to optimize clinic operations and patient access to services. * Analyze clinical performance data and patient feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. * Provide leadership in staff training, professional development, and performance evaluations to foster a skilled and motivated workforce. * Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and senior management to communicate priorities, challenges, and opportunities. Skills: The Primary Care Director will utilize clinical expertise and leadership skills daily to guide the care team in delivering evidence-based medical services and improving patient outcomes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for coordinating with staff, patients, and external partners to foster collaboration and trust. Analytical skills will be applied to interpret clinical data and operational metrics, driving informed decision-making and quality improvement initiatives. Organizational and strategic planning abilities will support efficient resource management and alignment of clinical services with community health priorities.
