1. BACKGROUND

The LMA West London GP Federation covers five PCNs ranging in registered patient list size from 31,000 to 102,000. The largest is Brompton Health Primary Care Network (PCN) which is located in the south of Kensington and Chelsea, has 12 member practices and a registered population of 102,000. Brompton Health PCN is committed to improving the health of the local population. We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual with an interest in prevention, reducing health inequalities and a passion for working in primary care to support with the management of the PCN and development projects related to Collaboration, Integration and Population Health.
The PCN Delivery Lead for Brompton Health PCN will work closely with the Clinical Director and Senior Development Managers (SDM), reporting to the PCN SDM and will lead on coordinating PCN meetings, workshops, and communications, while also managing agreed projects. The post holder will ensure that the PCN functions efficiently, supporting governance structures and project delivery across the network.
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated person with experience of primary care, project management and an interest in corporate governance. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills. You will be used to working in a fast-paced and changing environment whilst innovatively using resources to create service models.

5.1. EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to degree level (Essential)
  • Masters level qualification (Desirable)
  • Evidence of ongoing personal and Professional development (Essential)
  • Project Management qualification or equivalent experience (Essential)

5.2. EXPERIENCE

  • Experience and understanding of performance and change management, planning, budget setting and contracting processes, in primary care (Essential)
  • Experience of managing the delivery and improvement of services within a complex and diverse organisation. (Essential)
  • Experience of supporting the development of strategies to meet changing organisational needs. (Essential)
  • Experience and understanding of primary care commissioning and PCN development. (Essential)
  • Experience of managing and delivering programmes and projects, including the ability to implement, evaluate and modify as necessary and ability put in place systematic reporting on progress across all projects using a project management approach (Essential)
  • Experience of working with and manipulating data, producing reports, and data analysis (Essential)
  • Significant experience of working with General Practice (Essential)
  • Knowledge of GP Clinical systems (Desirable)

5.3. SKILLS

  • The ability to work in partnership with lead clinicians and individuals within and outside the PCN and a partnership approach to working across organisations.
  • The ability to work across the system and provide leadership (Essential)
  • Ability to work without supervision, providing specialist advice to the PCN, working to tight and often changing timescales (Essential)
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft software packages, particularly fluent in MS Excel and Word. (Essential)
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills to effectively deliver complex and often sensitive key messages, and information, persuasively to a range of stakeholders both internal and external to the PCN (Essential)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project principles including PRINCE2 (Essential)
