Primary Care Physician Daytona Beach, FL​ Opportunity Overview An established and growing Direct Primary Care (DPC) practice in the Daytona Beach, Florida area is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join its patient-centered healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who values relationship-based medicine, longer patient visits, reduced administrative burden, and the ability to provide highly personalized care. Founded in 2009, the practice has built strong partnerships with local employers and continues to experience significant growth. The incoming physician will play a key role in expanding access to primary care services while helping develop and grow their own patient panel. Position Highlights Direct Primary Care model Outpatient-only practice Four-day work week (Monday–Thursday) No insurance billing requirements Low patient volume with extended appointment times Opportunity for panel growth incentives and profit-sharing Collaborative, physician-led environment Flexible candidate requirements, including consideration of new graduates Schedule Full-time position Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Last patient scheduled at 4:00 PM Patient Care Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care services to adult patients Perform preventive care, annual wellness visits, and chronic disease management Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Develop individualized treatment plans Coordinate care with specialists and healthcare facilities as needed Conduct hospital follow-up visits when appropriate Utilize telehealth and patient communication tools to enhance access and continuity of care Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system Patient Volume & Practice Model Average of approximately 10 patients per day New patient appointments: 60 minutes Follow-up appointments: 30 minutes Hospital follow-up appointments: 60 minutes Predominantly adult patient population Average patient age range: 40–50 years Employer-sponsored patient memberships and individual members Call Schedule Light telephone call coverage Approximately one week of call coverage at a time Patients are educated to utilize after-hours access only for urgent concerns Minimal call burden No routine in-person call requirements Qualifications Required MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Completion of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency training Eligible for or active Florida medical license DEA registration or eligibility Preferred Family Medicine training preferred but open to Internal Medicine Board Eligible or Board Certified preferred Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred but not required New graduates are encouraged to apply Compensation & Benefits Compensation Up to $250,000+ Additional earning potential through: Patient panel growth incentives Productivity opportunities Profit-sharing arrangements Benefits Medical coverage available 401(k) retirement plan Malpractice insurance coverage CME allowance: $1,000 annually 15 days Paid Time Off (PTO) Short-term disability coverage Long-term disability coverage Additional benefits may be available and discussed during the interview process Why Join This Practice?
