ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining high-quality learning experiences for pupils in the absence of their usual teacher. You’ll have the opportunity to teach across different year groups, delivering engaging lessons and ensuring a positive learning environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons that align with the curriculum
• Adapting lessons to suit pupils’ needs and learning styles
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a safe and inclusive environment
• Providing constructive feedback and assessing pupil progress
• Supporting children with SEND or additional needs where required
• Collaborating with school staff to ensure continuity of learning
• Engaging pupils in exciting and interactive lessons
• Safeguarding children and ensuring their welfare remains a priority
