Emerging Tech is seeking a Program Manager to join our Primary Data Center (PDC) Project Management Quality Assurance (PMQA) Project team. The Program Manager will provide overall leadership and oversight of project execution, ensuring alignment with PMI PMBOK Version 5.0 and DOE standards. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in coordinating multi-vendor environments, managing risks, and delivering high-quality project outcomes. This position is primarily remote support.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • 10+ years of experience in project or program management.
  • PMP certification required.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Project Management, Business Administration (MBA), Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Project and MS Visio.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-vendor projects in public sector environments.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project activities and overall engagement.
  • Lead project planning, coordination, and performance oversight across the entire project lifecycle (Initiation & Planning, Monitor & Control, Close).
  • Manage all vendor resources, including submitting resumes, organizational charts, and maintaining task ownership schedules.
  • Oversee quality assurance, risk mitigation, change management, and adherence to timelines and deliverables.
  • Ensure effective communication among DOE and non-DOE stakeholders through status meetings, steering committee sessions, and reports.
  • Establish and maintain a central project repository with all documentation, technical guides, runbooks, and support plans.
  • Submit weekly status reports, monthly roll-up statements, and maintain accurate time logs and inventory reports.
