Job Description As a Primary Engineer working with the Transmissions team, your impact will be in providing engineering design and technical support in the development of transmission and substation projects. Key Responsibilities: Undertaking primary design for substations and terminal stations to a high technical standard Develop scopes and specifications for design and construction Manage outcomes within budget and project programme constraints whilst maintaining high levels of technical performance Review work as part of the peer review process from time to time as may be required Effectively manage the detail design from concept through to final design implementation to agreed scope, quality, time frames and budgets Identify and manage scope variations according to client and/or project requirements Review and assess brownfield and greenfield sites Qualifications To be successful in this opportunity, you will ideally have a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience with demonstrated experience on electrical utilities projects. In addition, you will also have: An Electrical Engineering Degree (or equivalent) NER high desired, motivated and willing to work toward CPEng status Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia Detailed technical knowledge and experience in electricity networks engineering Demonstrated experience with primary design in electricity substations engineering, project delivery and/or design roles Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microstation Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels Additional Information We are open to considering this role on a full-time, part-time or job-share basis.
