We are seeking a compassionate and flexible tutor to join our team and contribute to our mission of unlocking each child’s unlimited potential. As a tutor, you will play a crucial role in guiding your students through their education journey. You will provide personalised support and foster a growth mindset. Not only will you cultivate academic growth, but also emotional and social well-being, and a sense of belonging and community in each student you work with.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is preferred. Experience working with children of various ages and backgrounds is highly valued. You will need (or be able to acquire) a Working With Children Check. Experience with phonics is preferred.
We are looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build rapport with students and families. You need good organisational skills and the flexibility to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
We need a tutor with a genuine passion for fostering holistic development in children, and a commitment to our mission of empowering young minds.

• Personalised Instruction: You will tailor lessons to meet each student’s unique learning needs, strengths, and areas for growth.
• Inspire Curiosity: You will create an engaging and thought provoking environment with your students, to inspire a lifelong curiosity and desire to learn.
• Build Relationships: You will develop strong, supportive relationships with your students, offering them a safe and nurturing environment where they feel valued and encouraged to try their best.
• Monitor Progress: You will track student progress through note taking, provide regular feedback to parents and adjust teaching methods as needed. As a team, we discuss student’s progress and needs so that we can offer each individual the best support possible.
• Collaborate with Families: Partner with parents and guardians to share insights and strategies for supporting their child’s educational journey. We love to celebrate successes and address challenges collaboratively.
• Familiarise Yourself with our Resources: We have a plethora of resources for our tutors to utilise in their sessions. You will be supported in familiarising yourself with these resources, so that you can offer your students the best possible learning experience.
