Responsibilities

A lovely primary school in Liverpool (4 - 16) is looking for an HLTA to join their expert team. The school provides the highest level of education and care for boys and girls in the primary phase. They are looking for staff that are compassionate, creative and can take on a mentoring approach when providing constant support for the children.
The role would be covering a range of subjects and year groups therefore being flexible and proactive is key. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, provisioning one-to-one support to students, and assisting with behaviour management. The school also plans all their systems on sharepoint, class chart and having knowledge of Simms is also useful.
This school has fantastic opportunities for progression & there is continuous support from the senior leadership team and specialist colleagues. Pay starts from £110 a day depending on experience and if you can impress during a paid trial, which the school is more than happy to arrange to give you a real taste. In this role you must have the right attitude to go above and beyond for the children. Whilst experience is by no means required, a willingness to learn is key.
The school’s hours of this role are 8.30am - 4pm.
