REQUIREMENTS

The desired Primary Interventions Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team

This Primary School in Chester-le-Street (DH3) is currently looking to recruit a Primary Interventions Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis from September 2025. The successful Primary Interventions Teaching Assistant will be working across classes in KS2 to provide catch-up interventions to pupils needing additional support. The role is on a full-time basis and will run for the full academic year. This is a ‘Good’ school, where pupils enjoy coming to school and feel supported in their learning.
