Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support a Physician in delivering high-quality patient care and maintaining the daily operations of a busy medical clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical and administrative skills, a patient-focused attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Patient Check-in/Check-out: Greet patients, verify their personal and insurance information, and complete the check-in and check-out process of patients. Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, height, weight). Medical History: Update and maintain accurate patient medical histories, ensuring all relevant information is documented. Patient Communication: Answer patient voicemails, address inquiries, or schedule follow-up appointments as needed. Assist the Physician: during patient exams, if necessary, including preparing the exam room and offering any support required for the patient's care. Administrative Duties: Maintain organized patient records and ensure all documentation is completed promptly and accurately. Requirements Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; certification in medical assisting is preferred (e.g., CMA, RMA). Previous experience in a medical office setting, preferably as a medical assistant. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients in a friendly and professional manner. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical equipment. Ability to multitask, work efficiently, and maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment.
