We are looking for a Primary School English Teacher for a bilingual school in Hangzhou. This is position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in February 2026 About the school Located in Yuhang District, Hangzhou, this coeducational day school serves mainly local families and offers a bilingual learning environment with instruction in both English and Chinese. It is an IB World School authorized for the Primary Years Programme (PYP), with an inquiry-based approach that supports strong academic foundations, character development, and student wellbeing. The campus is positioned near the Xixi Wetland area, providing a calm setting while still being well connected to the city. Job responsibilities Teach the subject of English (ESL) to primary school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers Develop supportive and safe learning environments Bachelor’s degree or above Valid teaching qualification TEFL, TESL or higher At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred Salary and benefits Monthly salary of up to 22,000 RMB Monthly housing allowance of 2,000 RMB Paid national holidays & school holidays Work visa sponsorship (Foreign Expert Certificate & Residence Permit) Professional development opportunities within an IB-inspired bilingual school Supportive teaching team and modern teaching facilities
