We are looking for a Primary School Teacher for a bilingual school in Hangzhou. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026. About the school This premium bilingual day and boarding school in Hangzhou offers a through-train education from Kindergarten to Grade 12 for students aged 3–18, with a Lower School, Upper School, and Kindergarten on one modern campus. The school currently educates over 500 students and has a team of over ten expatriate teachers, with the majority of the student body being Chinese nationals following a distinctive curriculum that blends the Chinese Curriculum with key elements of international education. Lessons are delivered in both Mandarin and English, building strong academic foundations and bilingual proficiency that prepare students for entry to top global universities, while excellent facilities and a strong focus on academic achievement, character development, and holistic growth create a dynamic and ambitious learning community. Job details As a primary school teacher, you will serve as a homeroom teacher and teach subjects like English, science/social studies, personal/social class, math, and homeroom sessions as well as: Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers Contribute to and develop a comprehensive curriculum Support students learning by collaborating with other teachers and departments of the school, such as supporting English and in other subjects and programs Bachelor’s Degree or above in education or related field Relevant teaching experience Holding a PGCE, QTS preferred Two signed confidential references Salary and benefits Monthly salary of 20,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Apartment provided Free education for dependent children Public holidays Fully paid Summer and Winter holidays Medical health insurance
