We are looking for a Primary School Teacher for an International school located in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in February 2026. Job details Lead the class as the primary educator, fostering a safe, inclusive, and inquiry-rich classroom culture aligned with the IB Learner Profile. Plan, teach, and assess transdisciplinary Units of Inquiry integrating English language, mathematics, science, and social studies; embed key concepts, ATL skills, and opportunities for student agency. Deliver daily literacy and numeracy programs with differentiated instruction and ongoing formative assessment; design authentic summative tasks with clear success criteria. Maintain student portfolios and documentation of learning; provide timely, actionable feedback and support students in goal setting and reflection. Coordinate with the PYP Coordinator, grade team, and specialists to align the Programme of Inquiry, scope and sequence, and assessment practices; ensure vertical and horizontal articulation. Manage homeroom routines including attendance, timetabling, transitions, classroom agreements, and wellbeing checks; respond promptly to academic or behavioral concerns per school policy. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians via conferences (including student-led), reports, and agreed channels; be available for student conferences outside class time. Collaborate with specialists teachers to support diverse learners and integrate learning across subjects. Participate in planning meetings, professional learning, internal moderation, and school events (assemblies, exhibitions, celebrations of learning).
