The Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our Primary School team on a Temporary Long Service Cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a vibrant and nurturing learning environment during the critical early years of education.

Commencing January 2027 (with the opportunity for extension)

Full time, Fixed Term position available.

What You Will Do

  • Deliver engaging, student-centered learning experiences in line with the Australian Curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes curiosity, resilience, and growth
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support each child’s academic and emotional development
  • Actively participate in the co-curricular life of the school, including Sport and creative activities
  • Support the School’s commitment to child safety through active participation in student protection training and processes

What You Will Bring

  • Current or eligible registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
  • A sound understanding of contemporary pedagogy and early years learning practices
  • Experience working collaboratively in professional learning communities or team-teaching environments
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to students’ development beyond the classroom through co-curricular activities
  • A genuine commitment to supporting the wellbeing and personal growth of every child
