PRIMARY TEACHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary Key Stage 1 and 2 national curriculum
• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to ensure pupil progress
• Differentiate instruction to cater to various learning styles and abilities
• Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
• Monitor and report on student performance
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents
• Promote positive behaviour and attitudes to learning
• Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities
• Participate in staff training and continuous professional development
• Follow all school safeguarding policies and procedures

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching in UK primary schools is essential
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to supporting and inspiring young learners
• Up-to-date CV and an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
