Responsibilities

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons across the primary curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, ensuring high standards of achievement.
  • Promote positive behavior and manage the classroom effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support each child’s academic and personal development.
  • Contribute to school events, extracurricular activities, and the wider school community.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare of all children.
