REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Responsibilities

In this KS1 Primary Teacher role, you will take full class teaching responsibility, most likely in Year 2. This is a permanent position (with flexibility for temp-to-perm if needed) and offers scope for additional responsibility depending on your subject specialism or area of interest. The school is seeking a confident, reflective practitioner with a minimum of two years’ experience, who can make a meaningful contribution to the team.

As part of this role, you will be expected to:

  • Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum
  • Monitor pupil progress and implement effective strategies for attainment
  • Establish a positive, inclusive classroom culture where all children thrive
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
  • Contribute to whole-school development through subject leadership or wider responsibilities
  • Support EAL learners through differentiated teaching and targeted support
  • Take part in regular CPD and staff collaboration to improve outcomes

You must hold QTS and have strong experience across KS1, along with a caring and committed teaching approach.
