Primary Teacher Nord Anglia International School Al Khor (NAISAK), Qatar Nord Anglia International School Al Khor is looking to appoint an outstanding Primary Teacher to join a well-established, supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school. Nord Anglia International School Al Khor (NAISAK) is a 3-18 through school with more than 1350+ pupils currently on roll. Primary is predominantly 4 form entry with approximately 750 students aged 3-11. Our school resides in the town of Al Khor, 35 minutes north of Doha (the capital of Qatar). We educate both local and expat students through a bespoke and engaging Primary curriculum which draws on the English National Curriculum as well as Qatar’s Ministry of Education curriculum. To ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting are of the highest quality and meet the varying learning and social needs of children. To be flexible and adjust to the needs of the school, actively contributing to its development plans and growth. Implement agreed policies and developments. To demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge, teach and assess effectively. Use the student tracking and monitoring processes to advance children’s learning and enhance professional practice in line with the school’s aspirations and priorities. More details about the role and requirements can be found in the accompanying job description.   JD – NAISAK Primary Teacher   Head of Year/ Middle Leadership positions may be available to the right candidates.   Personal Specifications   Bachelor’s degree in education or degree plus PGCE/QTS Essential Teaching Qualifications Essential Proven track record and two years of teaching experience Essential Teaching within International Schools Essential Good working knowledge of the International Primary Curriculum, UK National Curriculum Essential Good classroom practice and interpersonal skills  Essential Ability to prioritize workloads and to work on own initiative  Essential Range of teaching experience across different year groups  Desirable Integrated technology into the classroom experience to enhance and extend the learning of students Essential Successfully teach students using technology in virtual/hybrid environment Essential Experience in leading meetings or INSET sessions Desirable   Selection Process Applicants should submit a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of which should be your current Head Teacher/ Principal.
