Closing Date: 15th May 2026 Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £15,184 - £19,058 Hours:  12.25 hours per week Aberfoyle Primary School are recruiting for a permanent part-time Support for Learning teacher, 0.35 FTE (0.2 fte Support for Learning and 0.15 fte Class Teacher)  Aberfoyle Primary School is a small rural school located in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. We are looking for a committed, compassionate and inspiring teacher to join our nurturing team. We would welcome applications from candidates who have a high standard of demonstrable classroom practice with sound knowledge of curriculum, learning, teaching and assessment alongside the knowledge and skills to identify and support learners with a range of Additional Support Needs. The successful candidate will be required to provide quality learning for all children and in particular those with Additional Support Needs. In doing so you will carry out the roles of consultation, direct teaching, co-operative teaching and specialist services including assessment and staff development. In addition to the range of teaching and Support for Learning duties outlined in the job specification we are looking for individuals who enjoy working collegiately, and who have a firm commitment to improving the outcomes for all our children at Aberfoyle Primary School, supporting us to achieve equity for all. You will have a relevant teaching qualification together with GTCS registration.  Please note that although the application process allows the uploading of a CV (resume), this is not a requirement for teaching posts and if submitted will not be taken into account during shortlisting to ensure a consistent approach for assessing all candidates. You should instead fully answer the question section with all relevant experience and skills. The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.  If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified. If you’ve got the right skills for the job we want to hear from you. We encourage applications from the right candidates regardless of age (restrictions apply to Modern Apprenticeships), disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, belief or race.  Job Description [https://www.stirling.gov.uk/media/kz1hvkhw/primary_teache_bt_01102024.pdf] Teacher Additional Information [https://www.stirling.gov.uk/media/niof4toc/teachers-additional-information.pdf] Stirling Information [https://www.stirling.gov.uk/media/arjfm1fz/stirling-council-recruitment-pack.pdf]
