Humly North East is working with a friendly and inclusive primary school who are looking for a committed and enthusiastic primary teaching assistant. The school is committed to providing an engaging and supportive learning environment for every child, fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning in pupils.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join the dynamic team. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development, both in class and in small groups.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons
• Support individual pupils, including those with SEND or EAL, to achieve their potential
• Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive learning environment
• Prepare learning materials and resources
• Supervise pupils during break times and school activities as needed
• Contribute to the overall life and ethos of the school
