Description

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum
Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils who require additional assistance
Deliver targeted interventions in phonics, literacy and numeracy
Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
Encourage confidence, independence and positive attitudes towards learning
Promote positive behaviour and contribute to pupil wellbeing
Help prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials
Support the maintenance of a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers where appropriate
Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of pupils

We're Looking For Someone WhoHas experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare, tutoring, coaching or similar setting – desirable
Is passionate about supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Has a positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude
Is patient, caring and able to build strong relationships with pupils
Can work effectively as part of a wider school team
Is confident supporting pupils both independently and within a classroom setting
Holds a relevant qualification or degree – desirable, but not essential
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
