Job Title: All-Star Tutor (a.k.a. Educational Superhero in Disguise)
Location: Selby area – in students’ homes
Hours: After school, flexible
Pay: £24-£26 per hour
Contract Type: Self-Employed

At All-Star Tutors, we believe learning should be exciting, confidence-building and just a little bit magical (without needing to wear a cape…unless you really want to). We’re growing fast and looking for brilliant, passionate qualified primary teachers to join our superstar team.
The Role:
* Deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions in the homes of lovely young learners (Reception to Year 6).
* Tailor your sessions to meet each child’s needs – academic support, confidence-boosting, or just making fractions a little less scary.
* Set mini goals and celebrate small wins. Stickers optional, high fives encouraged.
* Work with flexibility. We have after-school hours to fit around your life.
What You’ll Need:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent and ECT welcome). You should know your phonics from your fronted adverbials.
* An enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to get one).
* Access to your own transport.
* A warm, friendly approach and a love of helping children shine.
* Ability to handle the occasional enthusiastic pet or offer of imaginary tea.
