Primary Duties & Responsibilities The role of a principal cost accountant is crucial for maintaining financial control and ensuring accurate cost information for products. Here are some basic functions of a principal cost accountant in manufacturing as below: * Cost analysis and reporting * Variance analysis * Standard cost maintenance * Cost allocation * Inventory cost control * Financial reporting related to cost accounting. * Assisting with internal and external audits related to cost accounting. * Process improvement related to cost accounting. * Assisting in annual budget for manufacturing operations. * Regulatory compliance. Education & Experience * A minimum of 9 years of related experience in manufacturing company. * Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or other equivalent specializations Skills * Solid understanding of standard costing principles is required. * Good command of MS Office, highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. * English skills at intermediate level. * Detailed oriented person able to work efficiently and accurately. * Familiar with Accounting system, have knowledge and experience of ERP system is preferred. Working Conditions * Working in office, full time/ Manufacturing company. * Working under high pressure, independent thinking and active in working.
