Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Principal who doesn’t just lead but listens, reflects, and adapts. Someone who understands that strong vision starts with strong relationships - with children, families, and staff.
You’ll work alongside our Head of Early Years to guide the day-to-day operations and the long-term direction of our Preschool and Playschool, while keeping the child at the centre of every decision.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • Champion Agora’s Vision: Guide and uphold our mission and values in every corner of the school.
  • Lead Daily Operations: Ensure all licensing, safety, and regulatory needs are met with care and consistency.
  • Mentor Teaching Staff: Support your team to grow in confidence and competence through reflection, feedback, and co-planning.
  • Oversee Curriculum Development: Align programmes with our integrated, inquiry-based approach to early learning.
  • Engage Families: Build strong, trusting relationships and communicate regularly about each child’s learning journey.
  • Collaborate on Strategy: Work closely with the Head of Early Years on budgeting, staffing, and future planning.
  • Nurture Culture: Model kindness, autonomy, and accountability in your leadership and team interactions.
