Your tasks

• They develop and optimize modern data pipelines based on Microsoft Fabric, thereby creating a reliable foundation for analytics and reporting.
• They are further developing a scalable Lakehouse architecture and creating suitable data models and structures.
• They integrate internal and external data sources and ensure a consistent consolidation of relevant company data.
• In this role, you will work with ERP data, particularly from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• They develop transformation and processing logics using Python, SQL and Spark, and employ modern approaches such as dbt.
• They take care of data cleansing, harmonization, and historization, ensuring high data quality.
• They work with modern development processes such as Git, code reviews, and CI/CD.
• Together with the specialist departments, they develop meaningful Power BI dashboards and reports.
• They translate technical requirements into technical solutions and support the definition of relevant KPIs and data-driven use cases.
• Furthermore, you will contribute to the further development of data governance standards and structures in the data environment.

Your qualifications

• You have a completed degree in business informatics, data science, computer science or a comparable qualification.
• They have at least 3 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics or Business Intelligence.
• They have practical experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern Lakehouse concepts.
• You have excellent SQL skills as well as experience with Python and scalable data processing.
• They are familiar with data modeling and data quality and ideally have already worked with dbt or similar technologies.
• You are already familiar with Microsoft Power BI from practical experience, especially in the areas of dashboarding and data visualization.
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, is a plus.
• They work analytically, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and can explain complex technical concepts in an understandable way.
• They enjoy collaborating with specialist departments and developing concrete, data-based solutions from requirements.
