We are seeking an exceptional and visionary Principal AI Research Scientist to lead our research efforts in developing next-generation foundation models for power grid & substation applications. As a founding member of our new AI lab, you will play a pivotal role in defining our research agenda, driving innovation in algorithms, architectures, and methodologies for scaling AI models, and building and mentoring a best-in-class team. You will tackle fundamental research challenges with significant real-world impact, pushing the boundaries of AI to revolutionize the energy landscape and address critical challenges related to grid modernization, renewable energy acceleration and climate change mitigation.
This is a hands-on IC role that demands a strong research background and deep expertise in AI foundation models and ability to develop for creating ground-breaking change.
