Description
NXP’s Driver & Energy Systems (DES) product line develops Battery Management System (BMS) solutions for electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as 48V automotive power management products. These products support the growing demand for vehicle electrification and must comply with strict performance, safety, and reliability requirements. The Battery Management Systems (BMS) Segment drives the business of NXP’s leading mixed-signal battery management products for automotive and industrial markets. Together with a worldwide design team, we develop application specific standard products which integrate high performance analog functions as well as digital logic ranging up to 32 bit microcontrollers and DSPs in high voltage CMOS processes. We are looking for a Principal Analog Design Engineer to support global product development activities. Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations: Within a project team, you will be in charge of the design of analog or mixed signal blocks for battery management circuits from architecture to qualification. You will work in close partnership with Design Architects and thanks to your strong analog design background, you will be able to propose an optimal architecture in term of area, power consumption and performance. You will have the responsibility of translating a specification into an electrical schematic. You will create and complete the verification plan of your circuit (PVT, statistical, ESD/EMC & post layout simulations). You will validate the routing of your circuit at the layout stage. You will participate to the product debug & validation at lab, and support the qualification up to the product release. To be able to fulfill your missions, you are able to rely on a strong collaboration within the Design group but also from all the other technical groups within NXP. Working in a strong technical biased environment, you will develop your competencies and will have the opportunity of evolving in both technical or project responsibilities. Requirements: 10+ years of analog IC design experience Proven experience with IC in one of the following domains: ADC design, switch capacitors design , High voltage power management blocks, very accurate voltage references, physical layers as CAN interface. Experience in smart power BiCMOS technologies Good knowledge of the Cadence IC tools. Experience in requirement traceability management and ISO26262 Ready to create a smarter world?
