REQUIREMENTS:

  • Deep expertise in AWS services across computer, networking, storage, security, identity, and observability, with the ability to architect secure, scalable, and resilient multi-account environments.
  • Strong practical knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework, Control Tower, Landing Zones, and cost optimisation strategies.
  • Experience with creating and delivering AWS Cloud Assessments TCO/OLA, Business Case Assessments, PoCs etc
  • Experience working with AWS partner programs, including Solution Provider, Marketplace, and co-sell alignment.
  • AWS certification at Professional or Specialty level (e.g. Solutions Architect Professional, Security Specialty) is required.
  • 10+ years in technology leadership with strong AWS expertise
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Specialty certification
  • Experience with cloud assessments, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Current or reinstatable AGSVA Baseline Security clearance is preferred or willingness to gain AGSVA Security Clearance
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across technical and executive levels
  • Ability to drive consultative selling and cloud strategy development

    As a Principal AWS Architect at Fujitsu, youll drive cloud strategies that redefine how enterprises and government agencies operate. In this senior leadership role, youll advise C-level executives, design secure, scalable multi-account AWS environments, and deliver solutions with lasting business impact.
    Youll be the bridge between innovation and execution partnering with AWS and global experts, mentoring delivery teams, and shaping Fujitsus AWS roadmap. Your influence will extend beyond projects, through thought leadership, industry engagement, and capability building.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The Principal Architect - AWS is responsible for:

  • AWS Business development. Collaborates with customers to understand their business objectives and develop technical strategies and architecture to support those objectives and broader business strategy. Works with sales providing technology and thought leadership into the opportunity development qualification lifecycle Influence.
  • Acts as trusted advisor with customers, helping shape the customers strategic plans, technology requirements and business cases. Not only influences at the sales stage but evolves and maintains a trusted enduring customer relationship
  • Thought leadership. Communicates with, customers on the potential impacts and opportunities for AWS technologies within their organisation.
  • Shares insights with key customers on AWS technology offerings and how it can support business strategies / outcomes.
  • Requirements and design. Provides direction to design teams on customer and industry specific requirements, setting the high-level criteria for the design of solutions for customers.
  • Partner engagement. Works closely with AWS on customer engagements and opportunity development from a solution perspective. Has a broad view of engagements with AWS across the industry sector.
  • Knowledge re-use. Shares knowledge with colleagues and makes useful additions related to the industry and technology to the Fujitsu knowledge base.
  • Industry Expertise. Contextualises solutions, collateral and proposal wording using industry and customer terminology
  • Deliver paid design consultancies to Fujitsu clients.
  • Awareness and adherence to Fujitsus service delivery processes and methods.
  • Technology leadership, awareness of industry and technology trends specifically in AWS as well as Fujitsus broad range of products and services.
  • Domestic travel may be required.
