Description
We are seeking a Senior Platform Architect to lead the digital enablement of Process and Analytical Development (PD) and GMP processes in the future. The job This role will own the strategy, configuration, and sustainment of the Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) platform, beginning with an ELN pilot deployment, followed by a phased implementation of ELN/LIMS and EBR for client projects over the next 2–3 years. The role is embedded within the Process Analytical Sciences team reporting to the CTO, and with a functional reporting line to Digital / IT leadership, and serves as the primary bridge between scientists, quality, manufacturing, platform vendors, and IT. A key objective is to ensure that ELN data structures allow seamless technology transfer from PD into GMP. ELN Platform Ownership & Deployment Serve as the global platform owner for ELN, accountable for design, configuration, deployment governance, and sustainment Configure and maintain workflows and experiment templates to support PD scientists and support maintenance of methods/guided execution for QC and Mfg. in the future. Deliver development-phase batch records that can be transferred seamlessly into GMP environments during tech transfer and scale-up Integrated Platform Roadmap Define the target-state digital architecture spanning ELN, LIMS, LES, and EBR Partner with Digital / IT to develop and execute a 5-year digital roadmap Scientific & Business Partnership Act as the primary interface with PD scientists, translating experimental workflows and business needs into digital solutions Collaborate closely with Process Development, Analytical Development, Quality, and Manufacturing stakeholders Lead structured requirements gathering and continuous feedback cycles Analytics, Reporting & Instrument Connectivity Enable analytics and reporting capabilities within the ELN platform Support instrument connectivity and automated data capture, in partnership with IT and SDMS vendors Streamline the flow of information by bridging ELN data with primary analysis and statistical analysis tools Platform Ownership & Management Lead and coordinate continuous improvements with platform vendor and system integrators Own solution design decisions and ensure alignment with business objectives Oversee system enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution Sustainment, Training & Continuous Improvement Own post-implementation sustainment of the ELN platform Monitor system performance, adoption, and data quality Ensure training materials, SOPs, and onboarding processes remain current About you Platform Expertise 7–10 years of academic and consulting/industry experience implementing ELN/ LIMS platforms in biotech industry EBR deployment is an added benefit Demonstrated leadership of ELN/LIMS configuration, deployment, and sustainment Experience supporting product development with a clear path toward future GMP transition Experience working cross-functionally and coordinating with platform vendors Proven ability to collaborate effectively with scientists and cross-functional stakeholders at all levels to drive project success Academic Credentials Advanced degree in cell biology and/or stem cell biology is desired PhD is advantageous What we offer We offer a dynamic, results-oriented environment focused on scientific innovation and operational excellence.
