Job Description Job Summary The Network & Security Operations Lead is responsible for designing, governing, securing, and transforming enterprise-wide network and security operations across IT and Plant / OT environments. The role drives operational excellence, ensures resilient connectivity, strengthens security posture, and leads the transition from traditional network operations to AI-enabled Network & Security Operations Roles & Responsibilities • You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust network architectures to support scalable, high-performance IT-OT infrastructure, Web Applications, and Cloud platforms. • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining network and security standards that align with industry best practices, ensuring consistent performance and resilience. • You will be responsible for implementing security policies and technologies including firewalls, encryption, and access controls to protect critical infrastructure and ensure regulatory compliance. • You will be responsible for conducting regular performance assessments and capacity planning to identify bottlenecks, optimize resource utilization, and improve overall efficiency. • You will be responsible for leading security audits and vulnerability assessments and taking proactive steps to mitigate risks across network environments. • You will be responsible for driving innovation through proof-of-concept initiatives and adopting emerging technologies that enhance network and security capabilities. • You will be responsible for leading incident response activities, including investigation, root cause analysis, communication with stakeholders, and implementing corrective actions. • You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding network and security teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development. Key Responsibilities 1. Network Infrastructure & Connectivity Own end-to-end lifecycle management of enterprise network technologies including: Cisco & Aruba switching and routing environments Enterprise Wi-Fi & wireless networks SD-WAN architecture & operations ILL / WAN / MPLS / Internet connectivity Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of network services. Drive network capacity planning, optimization, and modernization initiatives. 2. Security Operations & Controls Govern and manage network security technologies including: Firewalls (perimeter & internal segmentation) ZTNA solutions (Zscaler & comparable platforms) Microsegmentation platforms (Guardicore / Akamai & equivalents) Network Threat Detection & Response solutions Lead security incident coordination related to network threats. Ensure continuous improvement of network security posture. 3. Plant Network / OT Security Oversee Plant / Manufacturing / OT network architecture and security. Implement segmentation, isolation, and secure connectivity models between IT & OT. Ensure compliance with GxP, regulatory, and cybersecurity standards for manufacturing environments. Mitigate risks related to OT cyber threats and vulnerabilities. 4. AI-Enabled Network & Security Operations Drive transformation from reactive/traditional operations to: AI / AIOps-led monitoring & automation Predictive incident management Intelligent threat detection & analytics Identify opportunities for automation, self-healing, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with Cloud / AIOps / Platform teams for integrated observability. 5. Managed Services Governance Work closely with managed services partners to ensure: SLA / KPI adherence Strong operational governance Incident & problem management effectiveness Continuous service improvement Lead service reviews, risk discussions, and performance optimization. 6. Risk, Compliance & Resilience Ensure network & security operations align with: Enterprise cybersecurity policies Regulatory & audit requirements Business continuity & disaster recovery objectives Drive vulnerability management and remediation coordination. Technical Exposures: • Exposure to Agile methodologies as applied to network and security projects is preferred.
