Establish architecture governance principles, standards, and patterns to balance engineering velocity with security, reliability, and cost-efficiency. Scout and evaluate emerging technologies in AI, cloud-native security, and large-scale data processing to drive innovation. Mentor senior engineers and architects, raising technical competency and promoting cross-functional alignment across global teams. 12+ years in technical leadership roles, with 4+ years as a Principal Architect, Distinguished Engineer, or equivalent in a global-scale SaaS or cybersecurity organization. Proven expertise in infrastructure, middleware, security, data, AI/ML, and services architecture. Hands-on experience with large-scale, multi-region cloud platforms (AWS required; GCP/Azure preferred). Operational experience deploying AI/ML in production, including LLMs, vector databases, and high-performance data pipelines. Strong background in platform architecture, microservices, APIs, multi-tenant SaaS, and data lakes. Deep knowledge of security practices, including IAM, Zero Trust, and cryptography. Exceptional communication skills, able to convey complex technical strategies to executives and engineering teams. Advanced certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, or CCSP. Experience in high-growth, fast-scaling environments handling petabyte-scale telemetry and real-time analytics. Expertise in Kubernetes, CNCF technologies, and cloud-native security practices. Demonstrated thought leadership in cloud architecture, AI, or cybersecurity through publications, patents, or technical articles. Competitive base salary ($208,000—$286,000 USD) with potential adjustments based on location and experience. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage. 401(k) with company contributions. Unlimited PTO and paid company holidays. Industry-leading gender-neutral parental leave. Employee stock purchase program and equity opportunities. Disability and life insurance coverage.
