ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly qualified Principal Architect to join our diverse team! The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Insurance Enterprise Architecture Cloud Solutions and Data Architecture. This role requires a deep understanding of claim investigation and validation as well as claim registration processes. The Principal Architect will play a pivotal role in crafting our enterprise architecture strategy and driving technological innovation.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Responsible for architecting solutions for the given application(s)
• Responsible for understanding dependencies between technology platforms and product(s) required to deliver a specified solution
• Designs, Develops, modifies and adapts short and long-term solutions to information technology (IT) assessing new and existing applications and systems architecture
• Contributes to the creation of business-driven technology roadmaps
• Work closely with Business and Technical Stakeholders to understand the functional and non-functional requirements. Responsible for crafting the overall Architecture of the target system – including Application component architecture, Integration Architecture, and Deployment Architecture
• Be responsible for making key Architectural decisions along with Client Stakeholders
• Work closely with Development team to ensure that designed Architecture is being accurately implemented, provide technical guidance to development team to resolve technical issues and mitigate all technical risks

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

• Strong background as a solution architect for min 10 years
• Significant experience is architecting large scale web applications and microservices in the cloud complying to 12 factor app principles
• Extensive experience in Azure platform, including AKS, Service Bus, Azure Functions, APIM etc.
• Solid understanding in architectural patterns in implementing microservices, micro-frontend, real-time/batch/async integration with COTS etc.
• Solid understanding in web security areas like authentication, oidc flow, saml, sso, coarse grain and fine grain authorization, leading secret dependencies, Azure Managed Identities etc.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing strong engineering practices, having ideas about tools/accelerators/automation areas across the development life-cycle, DevSecOps etc.
• Domain Knowledge in Insurance and related COTS is preferable
• Strong interpersonal skills with extensive client facing experience (preferably North American clients), able to communicate both with Client Enterprise Architects/technical community and Business SMEs/Product Owners with equal flair
